Lookbook: JOY

Ever since we can remember, this time of year has brought nothing by JOY. Joy in sipping hot chocolate next to a fire that our Dad built. Joy in squeezing 50+ family members into our grandmother’s small house. Joy in singing Christmas carols alongside our grandfather while our aunt tickles the piano.

Amongst the joy does come difficulty and a sense of feeling overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with the expectations we put on ourselves. Overwhelmed with the commitments we just can’t say “no” to. Overwhelmed with the changes this particular holiday season brings to our family. The key is to stay thankful and joyful for everything we have and the sweet people we get to share every joy with.
