Mallory Lafargue Hoffman and Megan Lafargue Charrier are two sisters we go way back with. We're talking late 90's cheerleading dances/high school bonfires back. Mallory being just one year older than Annie Claire makes this BFF relationship a real treasure to witness. When I moved to Baton Rouge from our small hometown of Marksville to attend Louisiana State University, I moved in with these two and man did they make the start (and end) of college sweet. 

But I digress. 

Each year in October we take some time to get inspired by sisters around us. It's one of our favorite parts of the year - a time to listen to how other sister relationships work.

When we approached Mallory and Megan about being featured on our blog this month, they happily obliged. Like no hesitation because they knew how much it would mean to both of us - to SoSis. That's what friends like Mal and Megan do -- they drop whatever they have to to travel to Baton Rouge, get dressed up in our clothes and model for us. They never hesitate to show up, be there and support. 

This set of sisters is an extra special one. We think you'll see why. Read on for more!

2019 has been a challenging year for Mallory and Megan. In Mal's words "It's been a year of the highest highs and the lowest lows."

Just about one year ago, we all traveled to Jamaica to witness Mal marry the sweetest beau, Dennis. Megan stood lovingly by her side in the most beautiful setting. Gosh, was is sweet to witness.

Then earlier this year, Megan and Mal experienced what could be considered their lowest low - the sudden loss of their brother, Brady.

Mal says, "I thought we were close to begin with, but this has drawn us even closer together. It’s a whole new level. I couldn’t have done any of it without her. I’m stronger with and because of her."

Meet Megan 

Megan is the ultimate big sis. She's your cheerleader and your protector. She'll jump through hoops to make you happy and I've seen that firsthand in how Megan treats Mal. Megan is a recent stay-at-home mom whose bosses are pretty demanding. Maggie (7) and Maddox (11) keep her busy from football practice to soccer; gymnastics and pep squad to room mom. 

Meet Mallory 

Mallory is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the Ochsner Hospital for Children Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development. She is passionate about her profession and will bend over backwards to offer comfort to her patients and their families. Her friends benefit from this amazing trait too. She and Megan make a great sista team.
